Just a Rainy Day: Look-Look Book (Turtleback School & Library) | 
so-soWe've been having a lot of rainy days here lately so I thought we'd try this book out. The story has potential that I feel isn't really harnessed (a girl is stuck inside on a rainy day and everything she tries to do to get rid of the boredom goes wrong). They end up going to the mall at the end?? There are some cute Easter eggs in the illustrations though, with her cat doing funny things and her mom looking in on her with amusement.

I have Squad by Maggie Tokuda-Hall on hold at the library, which I hear is really good too! 2y
