Witch Eyes
Witch Eyes | Scott Tracey
4 posts | 4 read | 6 to read
Braden's witch eyes give him an enormous power. A mere look causes a kaleidoscopic explosion of emotions, memories, darkness, and magic. But this rare gift is also his biggest curse. Compelled to learn about his shadowed past and the family he never knew, Braden is drawn to the city of Belle Dam, where he is soon caught between two feuding witch dynasties. Sworn rivals Catherine Lansing and Jason Thorpe will use anything—lies, manipulation, illusion, and even murder—to seize control of Braden's powers. To stop an ancient evil from destroying the town, Braden must master his gift, even through the shocking discovery that Jason is his father. While his feelings for an enigmatic boy named Trey grow deeper, Braden realizes a terrible truth: Trey is Catherine Lansing's son . . . and Braden may be destined to kill him. Praise: "A bewitching blend of paranormal romance and intrigue."—KIRKUS REVIEWS "Welcome to the town of Belle Dam, a mysterious place filled with intriguing characters, magic, and dangerous secrets. Witch Eyes pulled me in and kept me up half the night finishing it, only to leave me with a thirst for more! I seriously can't wait to see what Scott Tracey does next. His debut urban fantasy has it all: great voice, unique worldbuilding, and a sizzling romance that I adored."—KAREN MAHONEY, AUTHOR OF THE IRON WITCH

Today‘s attempt to use up my huge amount of produce involved couscous and braised chard with chili, garlic, and tomato. It was pretty good.

I read a bit of WITCH EYES while I ate. It‘s the kind of book I probably would‘ve liked a lot of I‘d read it when I first got it, but it‘s shaping up to be an American High School Story and I recently developed a low tolerance for those. I might drift away from it.

I‘m gonna post a book (or series) from my TBR every day until I‘ve shared the lot. No descriptions. No explanations. Just a whole bunch of books I haven‘t read yet.

This is Day 59.

Pickpick

I'm about half way through this book and it is amazing there is a lot of Scenes where the characters can find out about Braden the main character and he has to figure out how to work his way through a normal people school without being found out about. Also if your into books that are based on kids that are still in grades that are close to you if your a kid then this book might connect to your life right now
