The plot sounded thrilling, however the writing was dreadful. Sentence structure reminiscent of my six year old's literacy homework. Didn't make it through the first chapter.

I have been hooked from this series from the first chapter. I'm now reading book five and gutted I've got to wait until December for book 6 !! If you love paranormal, British crime and historical fiction then this book rolls all three into one !! 5 *****
