Fast paced and thrilling. The twists were coming in waves.
Love the different POVs and how seamlessly all pieces come together.
Read it in German.

@ReadingRachael Look what came 😍😍😍
Thank you so much for these thoughtful goodies! I love mint chocolate so much and those chocolates with the sweaters on them are almost too pretty to open! I can't wait to dig into that book. I almost spent some Christmas money on that but I'm glad I held off 😊 And SO beautifully wrapped. Best way to end the year! I love it 😘😘😘

I was hoping to knock a good chunk out of this today but instead I had an ongoing battle with my basement & flooding. I guess I will just have to see how far I get before I head to bed. Why does the weekend always seem to go by way to fast?
All my library holds have come in but work has had me so stressed and exhausted that I basically crash when I get home at night. I just need a day off to curl under my blankets and read. Maybe a "mental health day" is in order soon ??
I‘m in the last 2 hours of the audiobook and I have been pleased with it all along. This book is so satisfyingly linear. In a chapter they‘ll say “We need to go get the chalice!” and then in the next chapter they go and freakin‘ do it. I‘ve read several books recently that set up a quest and then immediately tear it apart, so this has been excellent.
In the midst of the audiobook for this and I am enjoying it. I think one of the storylines is heading towards being a found family heist tale and I am here for it.
