This elegantly written story of a the tangled relationships and failures of communication among a group of young gay men over a hot summer made me feel very old. I really didn't have a lot of sympathy for the gormless narrator, or the posturing of his best friend. I did enjoy the local references (this book is practically drowning in them @BarbaraBB ) and the vegemite joke. #Bookspin
JennyM I found the snark funny in parts. They tired me out though with all their going‘s on 😂 5y
CarolynM @JennyM Yes, tired out! Who could be bothered with all that to-ing and fro-ing? I felt quite sorry for Richmond man in the end. At least he seemed sure about what he wanted. 5y
LeeRHarry Sounds good 😊 5y
