The Golden Age The Golden Age - Volume 1, Part 1
The Golden Age The Golden Age - Volume 1, Part 1 | Pedrosa, Moreil Roxanne
2 posts | 3 read | 1 to read
An exiled princess, a knight and his young companion travel across a kingdom in turmoil to rally support so the princess can reclaim her throne. On a journey fraught with danger, they briefly find sanctuary in an isolated community of woman warriors before departing for the city of Ohman. Not only is a mysterious treasure said to be hidden there, but a peasant uprising, inspired by a mythical text about equality, is in full, bloody swing. In the first volume of this sweeping graphic novel, each person's convictions will be put to the test.

An interesting story with cool artwork and lots of potential, but I‘ve read that the second (and final) volume doesn‘t deliver a satisfying continuation. Not sure if I will pick up the second volume. #2023 #thegoldenage

Interesting concept. Princess‘ father died, and she‘s ready for coronation. Brother and mom usurp and exile her. With some loyal lords, she finds a woman‘s colony and some people talking about a found document from the Golden Age, where all people were equal. Tilda has some strange visions and bleeding/fainting going on though. The artwork and color scheme is a bit difficult to read/see. Very off kilter.
