Hundreds of characters, confusing relationships, emotional conflicts and so much more drama - all in the face of one of the biggest wars in Indian mythology. This retelling of one of India's greatest epics Mahabharata has me completely enthralled!

The best books are those that are loved and shared. I met a fellow book lover when I was on vacation and came back home with this gem from his library. An award winning interpretation of one of India's beloved epics - Mahabharata. Originally written in Kannada and translated in to many many languages.

Imagineannie Oooooooh! 8y

ramyasbookshelf @varshitha - sadly, I don't. I can understand it but can't read or write. I'm a tamilian. This is a very interesting interpretation of Mahabharata.. I'll let you know more once I start reading it. 8y
Varshitha I will look forward to it.. 8y
quirkyreader I love the Manabharatha. Maybe next time when my husband goes back to South India I'll ask hi. To bring back a copy. 8y
