Pickpick

A family drama, a coming of age story, a murder mystery, a detective story, a romance, social issues and commentary, this had a lot happening!
Well written, emotional and heartbreaking, this was an excellent debut novel. You can't help but love these very flawed characters and their unbreakable friendship.
The serial killer seems like an unnecessary background story at first, but it does all tie together.
