Bailedbailed

This was one of my book spins, and it proved to be a chore to get through, so I was unfortunately unable to finish it. The style of writing is very choppy, so it was very difficult to engage with the story. When you add that the narrative drags along, it doesn‘t allow much opportunity get a foothold in the novel. On the upside, I feel like I deserve a medal for getting as far as I did. #TheAromaofBooks

TheAromaofBooks Sometimes it's just not worth following through on a book!!! Great progress!! 4y
DoctorMirabilis1267 @TheAromaofBooks I typically pride myself on finishing a book, no matter whether it is a torturous read. This is a rare case where the torture simply wasn't worth it. 4y
TheAromaofBooks I've gotten a lot more prone to bail on books over the last couple of years. I used to finish no matter what, but for some reason I just have less patience (or a longer list of books I want to read??) for books that aren't working for me! 4y
