Golden Stage (黄金台) | 
so-soJust finished this one. I've been on it for five months & it's only 79+4 chapters! The story is good and the characters interesting. The translation is good. It's almost entirely political intrigue and some military action (like), with fade to black sex (sad), because post-2017 China and the protagonists are both men. Despite that, I don't see this one ever being adapted as a cdrama.
