The Canadian Corps, forever after marked as elite ?shock troops, ? played a key role in the Allied victory. One hundred years after the end of the war, Tim Cook and J. L. Granatstein delve into this series of battles in a visual and evocative souvenir catalogue. I read this between Sept 18 & Oct 2 & gave it 4 ⭐️. Whilst it is originally intended as a companion to an exhibit at The Canadian War Museum, the book serves as a good starting guide to the Canadian involvement in The Hundred Days campaign of WWI. It makes me want to read more about the campaign, and about Canada‘s role.
