A classic friends-enemies-friends-lovers. Milo needs help tracking down game cards he lost, really rare, expensive ones. Him &Jasper haven‘t spoken in years but he knows Jasper could help. Jasper reluctantly agrees as long as Milo cosplays with his friends for their visits to the kids hospital. I think it dragged a bit plot wise tbh but it was cute, I loved both the MCs and their development & they had good communication which I loved

4.75 stars-I LOVED the two MCs even though one of the narrator's voices was a bit annoying. The story was sweet and I liked how it ended. Except for 1 part of the ending, I loved it! The MCs were relatable and I liked getting to know all the other character's better after the first book.

Locking in this number! A good year of reading! I finished my ever-growing pile of graphic novels (a whopping 105) and am pleasantly surprised that that WASN‘T the majority of my book count! Let‘s see what I can do for 2022!!

Probably the last book of 2021! While I did enjoy it, it felt a little too long for the story. Things felt flat and repetitive at times. It was a cute scenario, with cute characters, but it didn‘t go further than that: just cute.

The Megan Lindholm novel I started earlier today had such purple prose I couldn‘t even stand to read three full chapters. Sigh. I‘ve switched to OUT OF CHARACTER, which is off to a very good start.

Library haul! Two of my In Transit holds didn‘t arrive before I did, so I nabbed Ruby Lang‘s real estate romance trilogy off the shelf to go with the Annabeth Albert novel I had waiting for me. I also got vols 4 and 5 of HONEY AND CLOVER in the (perhaps vain) hope the person who‘s got vol 3 returns it nice and soon.

I don't typically dress up for Halloween so going a different direction with this prompt. This book centers around cosplay and dressing up in costumes from a popular card game.

This was an adorable queer romance. Jasper and Milo used to be best friends until high school when Milo became a jock and Jasper was bullied as a nerd. 8 years later, Milo comes to Jasper for help and tries to prove that he's becoming a better person. There's cosplay fun, gaming adventures, and great character development. This is part of the same world as Conventionally Yours and had some of the same characters return. But I liked this one more.
