The blindness/sight motif plays a really important role in the finale. I love that Hickman gives these cosmic characters deeply human motivations. A truly poignant ending.

pickI finally made myself read the last volume of East of West. I truly hated to see this series come to and end. Volume 10 did not disappoint. Epic battles, the fate of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and that of the leaders of the free world, all things were wrapped up quite nicely. This has been my favorite series in the last few years, and I was actually satisfied with how it ended!
