I absolutely loved this book! The plot was fantastic, I loved the mystery and vampire aspects to it, plus the 80s/90s pop culture references were amazingly done! The romance was so sweet and I loved the friendships formed, and the sisterly bond between Mina and Libby. The setting of New Orleans was great, the world building was so gothic and dark too. The final quarter of the book was full of plot twists which I loved, and I enjoyed the ending!

I've been waiting for this since I heard about it about one or two month(s)or back and I'm super excited to see how this horror story unfolds--which somewhat of a mystery retelling of Dracula in New Orleans. After I finish the book, I will definitely listen to the author's interview on her book. #newYA #horrorretellings #vampires
