Through a series of seemingly accidental events six strangers find themselves walking a path that none were prepared to walk. A thief of notorious sorts, a bounty hunter, the sole heir of a dead kingdom, a mercenary who fights for a price, a naïve young sorceress, and a powerful mage all must first learn to trust those they have every reason not to. Only then will they find the strength needed to topple a tyrant who not only threatens the fragile peace of their lands, but of that of the entire world. And with every step closer they come to achieving their goals some of them learn that some truths are better left untold...
