Public Libraries in the United Arab Emirates are known as storage of heritage and human knowledge, where knowledge and innovation are the main drivers of growth and prosperity, especially in today's knowledge -driven economy. Public libraries gives [sic] access to data which might be utilized for self-advancement, social mindfulness and improvement and proceeding with education. For kids and young people, they give a positive alternative to pastime reading, examining and taking part in exercises sorted out by the library. The United Arab Emirates is a union of seven emirates and Public libraries in these emirates are associated for the most part to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development (MCYCD). However, libraries are set up by local entities. Public libraries in the UAE can be isolated into three groups regarding their affiliation: libraries that have a place with federal entities, for example, public libraries of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development (MCYCD), libraries set up by local entities, for example, the National Library in Abu Dhabi and libraries owned by private clubs and associations. In addition, there are libraries that serve certain target groups, for example, college and school libraries that basically consider the instructive and research needs of students and faculty. All main universities in Abu Dhabi such as UAE University, Zayed University, Abu Dhabi University and Paris Suborn [sic] University boast large and state-of-the art libraries with thousand of titles, reference books and specialized database [sic] . Moreover, most of the libraries have been set up as joint ventures between government organizations and departments, and privately-owned businesses, each providing either space, personnel or funding. However, In Al AIn city "that belong to Abu Dhabi emirate" there are many libraries one of the oldest libraries is "Zayed Central Library." It was closed for a period and reopened recently in 2016. In this design thesis paper, I will study, illustrate, and redesign a new innovative building for Zayed central library.
