I‘ve finally finished something! I‘m in the middle of a lot of books, so I was glad to finally close the book on this one. I‘ve been reading it for a month!

I am a fan of this #middlegrade graphic novel series, so I was really keen to read the first in the series from a boy‘s perspective. That being said, I struggled. I wasn‘t excited to pick it up. Loved the ending, though. Curious to see how it progresses in the next installment.

This is a great series that can be read in any order. This is the first time the author is telling a story from the male perspective and I think she nails it. Tyler has shown up in the other books. He is the school's cute boy on the basketball team. I love that it is part graphic novel, part illustrated novel. It just all works. I also like that there is a male leading character to help attract more boys to the series.

The next installment in Libenson‘s middle school graphic novel series. I don‘t know if she has more planned but they will be a go to for me. I think kids getting ready for middle school would take a lot from these and enjoy them too.

I dont remember what book in the series this is, but each book can be read independently. We read the first book for #MGBuddyRead a long time ago and I liked it enough to stick with it.
