Spark | 
pickI read this picture book twice, once by myself and a second time with a friend. I thought the first time around the Spark meant the love between two people and the child in the story is hearing about how the spark came to be between their parents. It's actually about how the child grows and forms their own spark with another being in the world. Another beautiful picture book by Ani Castillo. I feel so much emotions looking at her illustrations.
