National Geographic Readers: Pandas | 
pickPandas🐼 This NF, IR is a great classroom resource for students to learn accurate information about pandas. The book discusses facts like; most pandas are located in China, they eat primarily bamboo (20-40 pounds a day), there are only about 1600 pandas left in the wild and many more interesting panda bear and red panda facts. While this book doesn‘t hold a theme, it provides educational information in an easy-read form perfect for the classroom.

With an IR strategy book, students are able to choose a both they find interest in and this can benefit a student for future biological lessons (background knowledge).
