“Hi, Papa! Can we do that again?“ This quote shows the relationship be tween the dad and the baby and I think it is really adorable.

I really liked this book because it was humorous and also was reallocate. It showed the playfulness of the baby fox and of the other animals. This books would be good for younger children as a really interactive story.

Where's Baby? by Anne Hunter. 2020. Picture Book. This book reminds me of a comic book with the way they have the words placed in word bubbles. Also I see how the book is merely in black, gray and white except for the baby fox and the sky. The range coloring of the baby makes it easy for the reader to see where is the baby is on every page. It gives a sense of humor as well.

I love how all the elements in the story work together to make a really fun story mixed with a seek and find aspect.

This book is so cute! I love how the author and illustrator play off of each other to hide the baby somewhere on the page. I feel that making the baby bright orange and playing with the perspective, it helps kids to really interact with the story. The placement of the trees and the tall grass to hide the baby fox really makes for a fun seek and find type of story.

The cool toned colors determine the tone for the story and allow the reader to use dialogue and illustrations to see the story play out.

This book was published in 2020. Originally catorgorized as a picture book. I believe that this book could also be catergorized as a comic book due to the speech bubbles on each page. The speech bubbles distinguish who is speaking and each page could be considered a frame. The story is about a father fox looking for his baby who is “lost”. Very cute story.

“Hi papa, can we do that again?”
This is such a cute ending, that this was an adventure for the baby fox but a search for the papa fox.

I love how the little bit of color we have is the baby fox and on each page, the kids will get excited to see where he is. It is like a little secret that the protagonist does not know but the readers do.

This is a sweet story about a papa fox looking for his baby fox, they look and find lots of animals but not the baby fox. In the end baby fox was behind him the whole time and wanted to do it again. The art has little color which I think adds imagination for the students and the pop of color in the book is the baby fox we are looking for. Fun little read!

Love this book! It tells the cutest story about a father and child. The father is going around the area looking for his child when all along he was right behind his tail! So silly

10/10. This is such a cute and uplifting picture book! Great for a nice laugh and to feel loved.

The father was drawn using different/darker strokes to make him look like you could put your finger on the page to feel the texture of his fur. The illustrator also made the baby bright orange to pop so that the viewer could easily find where he was hiding. Throughout the story, the father is takes a journey to find his baby

I thought that this would be a great book to have kids study and talk about the different textures that came to play in the story. I would have my students make their own picture and have them try to draw it using at least four different textures and/or patterns.

Where's Baby was written by Anne Hunter. The book was published in 2020. The book is a super cute, funny story about Mama Fox and Papa Fox and their adventures to try to find their Baby. They look everywhere- but they come to find out Baby was behind them the whole time. I absolutely love the illustrations in this book. The line work for the fur is amazing. In addition, Baby is the only object in the book that has color.
