In Where It All Lands, debut author Jennie Wexler delivers a heartbreaking and hopeful novel about missed opportunities, found chances, and all the different paths that lead us to where we are. Stevie Rosenstein has never made a true friend. Never fallen in love. Moved from city to city by her fathers unrelenting job, its too hard to care for someone. Trust in anything. The pain of leaving always hurts too much. But shell soon learn to trust, to love. Twice. Drew and Shane have been best friends through everything. The painful death of Shane's dad. The bitter separation of Drew's parents. Through sleepaway camps and family heartache, basketball games and profound loss, they've always been there for each other. When Stevie meets Drew and Shane, life should go on as normal. But the universe has other plans. Told in dual timelines, this is the story of how our choices define us, and how no matter the road, love can find its way.

Mehso-so

The first half I really enjoyed then the groundhog effect with alternate POVs just didn't quite work for me. I get what the author was trying to do but it was just a so-so read for me.

Pickpick

A cute YA contemporary romance that explores the impact of a single decision. Dual timeline based on two paths following the flip of a coin. A bit of a mix of fate & autotomy at work & it felt genuine. Good, comfortable writing & a fast, cozy read. Cute characters, though there are some dramatic teenager actions. Very enjoyable & a bit emotional. Definitely recommend. A very strong debut.

I love getting unexpected #BookMail, and enjoy it even more when it is a debut novel with themes of love, grief, and questions of "what if?". Thank you to Wednesday Books for sending me this finished copy of #WhereItAllLands by Jennie Wexler.⁣

Good narration, but the Sliding Doors type plot was lackluster.

Garabrandtreviews See, I thought it got sloppy in the last 1/3 of the book 3y
