This one was a miss for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and that‘s being gracious. I think the romance storyline was well, not very romantic. I didn‘t understand the attraction as there seemed to be little chemistry between the characters. Felt as if perhaps her heart wasn‘t in writing this one. #romantsy #readingchallenge2022 #100readschallenge

Pickpick

While this book had no Lassiter (my favorite character of hers), I can't get enough of J R Wards books. I am enjoying these new characters just as much as if they were part of the family all along. I loved the somewhat closure for Jose. He doesn't have to be haunted by his past "failure" anymore.

I think V is the Warden‘s fave character, because a good portion of this book is about him having another crisis. I didn‘t mind because that meant I got some Butch-time, but it took a good chunk of the story, which meant the rest felt rushed.

I didn‘t really connect. Things happened out of nowhere (and I mean sharp event changes with zero connection or explanation). And while I love the main prisoners, Lucan didn‘t shine in this book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

CoverToCoverGirl Oh dear.. I‘m just reading Claimed, this is next. I do love V but Z is my favourite. It sounds like we‘re speaking in code. Lol 3y
StellaDz @CoverToCoverGirl it‘s been a while since I gave Warden less than 4⭐️ (Phury‘s book??). I‘m curious what you‘ll think. Maybe I missed something 🙁 . Love Z (don‘t see him enough) but Butch will always be my main man 😉 3y

I finished The Wolf last night. It was alright. The description is all about Rio and Lucan, but half the book was dealing with another Vishous problem. I'm just really done with him. Rio and Lucan's romance was less satisfying because it felt like it didn't get enough time to develop enough to end with I love yous. I love this bananapants world Ward has created so I'll keep reading each book.

Also I got a bingo!

CoverToCoverGirl I‘m reading Claimed at the moment but I‘m looking forward to this one. 3y
