What's the Buzz?: Honey for a Sweet New Year
What's the Buzz?: Honey for a Sweet New Year | Allison Maile Ofanansky
1 post
Visit a bee farm, and follow the bees as they carry "kisses" from flower to flower and return to their hives with their tummies full of nectar. Learn how the honey is extracted from the combs and makes its way from the hive to the table, to be enjoyed with slices of apples for a Rosh Hashanah treat.

Question of the day: What are your Bookish Buzzwords? #QotD

As in, what words in a synopsis or description immediately make you interested in a book?

If it is queer, I probably want to read it. If it has a theatre setting, yup, I want it. Is it set in Edinburgh? That's my favourite city. Are they going on an adventure? I want to go along.

Be sure to tag me in an responses so I can see them!

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks This is the word that first came to mind, “unputdownable.” For the opposite reason though! I can‘t stand this word and I don‘t know why! Lol 😂 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️ 3y
kathytrithardt @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks like an anti buzzword?! 🤣 3y
Tamra “Spare” 😊 3y
rwmg "For fans of" and "in the tradition of" are definitely my antibuzzwords. I read them as "trying to cash in on". Also, the more exclamation marks in the blurb (a particular sin of online blurbs) the less likely I am to read it 3y
