I didn‘t know what to expect with this one, but it was great! It didn‘t give me answers at the end, which is hard for me, but overall it‘s a wonderful novella…I read it in a day!
⭐️: 4/5

Week 1 of #Scarathlon2021 #TeamSlaughter - 226 points, I think! I realized some of my reading counts for #BookSpinBingo but not for #BFC21, so I had to separate out my point tallying. I've done really well making time for little bits of reading for fun! And I'm halfway through the tagged and loving it. I think it'll count as a theme read? Because of Dune trying to solve the mystery of the syndrome. And it's my #BookSpin! @Clwojick

Clwojick #BFC21 counts as a reading event too, so any hours read towards that can count for points too. 3y
Caterina @Clwojick Yes! Thank you. 😊 I meant that I put some seminary readings on my #BookSpinBingo, but my #BFC21 goal is related to reading for fun, which homework technically isn't. So those seminary books only count for one of the readathons, not both! 3y

As a fan of Emergent Strategy, one of the author‘s nonfiction books on activism, I was really disappointed by this pandemic novella. I hope in the finished copies they‘ll communicate more clearly that this is the first in a proposed trilogy—as you don‘t find out until the end of the acknowledgments in the ARC. If you‘re content with very few answers and intense interiority, then I would still recommend Grievers.
