pickThis was such a great book about trying to fit in and being yourself. It was sooo funny and Paulsen really captured the way kids talk and tell stories. Expect long sentences and more than a few digressions, but they all contribute to the characters and the story.

A funny, heartwarming & educational middle grade read by bestselling author Gary Paulsen. You probably read his most famous book, Hatchet, back in middle school yourself. This is quite different but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It's witten from the perspective of the main character with the help of his best friend.
