Sylvia Finds a Way | Stephanie Shaw
1 post | 1 read
The story of how one small creature can have a powerful effect for her and her friends using the power of restraint, kindness, and respect. "A slug saves the day for some hungry friends. . . Yoga fans may get a kick out of a slug mastering a locust pose." --Kirkus Reviews Sylvia is as small as your pinky finger and as slow as a. . . slug! She can't run or jump or fly like her animal friends. They hatch a plot to sneak into the bountiful garden. But Sylvia has her own way of doing things--one that will make all the difference.

What a great book! The graphics are amazing especially Sylvia's translucent trail throughout the book made me bump this to a four star rating. The story is about the animals trying to get food from the human's garden. However, the human keeps shooing them away and making it harder for them to eat. Sylvia comes up with a great plan. Cute story and graphics and all in all a great read for any child. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
