Stunning illustrations. This story is about the rain and if the sun will ever come back to shine down again. Nice short words throughout for the littles to read and just a beautiful book all around.

My least favorite book from Phoebe Wahl. This is about Sonya and her chickens. She did lose a chick and had to bury her but took care of the rest of the chickens so no other ones would die. Graphics were good. I just couldn't get into the story.

This book was super adorable. Two mice are cut out of books and go on a night adventure individually and eventually they meet up to have more fun as friends. Wonderful graphics.

Cute book and even cuter illustrations. This book is about a girl trying to find the fairies since she knows they are for real. I love the hidden fairies throughout the book and of course the rhymes as well.

98% of this artwork was truly amazing and of course how could I not love the story of Dracula?!?!?!

Stunning illustrations and a very cute picture book. The book reads forwards and backwards about a girl who goes to her house, reads a book and imagines flying a bird in the night.

Beautiful artwork. This book is told in four different stories in four different seasons. We see Hazel blowing off work to enjoy the summer fun, raising an owl in the spring, finding a new friend in autumn and getting lost in the winter. Lovely stories.

Such a perfect cute picture book. Our main character is a paperboy and one day the news states that the wishing well is broken. The townspeople are up in arms about it and the boy goes to investigate the well. What happens after that is pure gold. The artwork is adorable and love the story.

What a wonderful pirate story with lots of adventure narrated by a 11 year old pirate. Beautiful illustrations.

Oh.My.God. What an amazing book! Just the graphics alone are well worth the read but the story included is just perfect! Rene opens up a cafe to serve her yummy food and hires Slewfoot, a quiet goblin as a waiter. The problem now is she doesn't have any customers. Slewfoot finds her an ogre as a customer but his requests are too strange for Rene to make. What will Rene do?? Just a wonderful touching story for any age

Continuing with a great stories. Dark at times and wonderful graphics.

I waited so long to get this book and the library and it was a good and weirdly strange story. The town is currently in fear of the Mysteries and tries to find them. The illustrations were my favorite in the book. The story however was very strange and definitely confusing at the end. There's a reason why they are called The Mysteries.

This one was okay, not as good as Vol. 10. Less kitties and more adults, blah. The pianist goes to visit his father-in-law and thinks a lot about how he met his wife when he was a kid. Hopefully more kitties in the next volume!!

This book took me over a year to read it but well worth it. Enjoyed the tome and all its characters.

May was hard to choose because I had a lot of 5 star reads, but Lore Olympus Vol. 8 blew them out of the water.

Such a roller coaster of a comic! Superb graphics and a nail biting edge of your seat story!

I'm trying to finish the few Lumberjanes books in the series. This was a nice short read about the girls finding a Ren faire and of course something out of the ordinary happens but not scary at all! The bonus story was cute as well just not as good as the first story in the book. Graphics were great.

I'm so happy to be reading the next in the series. This time Kanda and his friend rescue a cat from a dilapidated building. However, Fukumaru is not liking the new cat and they are fighting each other. Will the cats get along? Love the graphics and the story. Looking forward to reading the next one.

Finally got this book to get caught up in the series. In this one, Hilda and her mom are moved in at Trolberg and Hilda is looking for adventure. What she finds is an unusual bird and winds up getting lost trying to get home. Loved the graphics and the story.

This one was fun to make. Getting ready to be shipped as a thank you gift to one of our relatives.

Just simply amazing... my favorite in the series so far. So many feelings.

This was good. John the skeleton lives with Gramps and Grams and spends his time keeping busy with his housemates. However, when one of them dies, he is there to keep the other one company as best as he can. Great illustrations and interesting story.

Wonderful illustrations and a great story about Nikola Tesla. It shows how he grew up and how he learned to love electricity and inventions. His rife with Edison and Westinghouse. And finally his love of birds. Ending was sad and I'm glad to have read it and learned more about this enigmatic man.

This was a clever story about a boy who has a giant snake in his room. His parents don't believe him even when he gets swallowed up by the snake. Funny and witty. Love the illustrations throughout.

Just another great and funny Shakespeare story turned into a choose your own adventures. Illustrations were cool as well.

Beautiful book. Gorgeous illustrations. Ed is in a bad mood and just keeps sweeping with his anger. The pile keeps getting bigger and bigger. Will Ed ever stop sweeping? Hm... I guess you need to read it to find out! Just a sweet story.

Incredible artwork. This is a true story of how a house got moved 4 miles. There is silver mining, pigs and lots of logs to be found. Loved the story and the quirky characters.

Finally finished all the Sookie Stackhouse stories and loved them all!

Wow what a dark read, especially that it's a children's book. The premise is that our main character wants to give a gift for his son at his christening but they are poor. So he is on a mission to find his son a godfather. He talks to God, the devil and Death and winds up choosing Death as his godfather. What happens after that is just crazy and wonderful. Definitely not a happy ending. Awesome illustrations as well.

I couldn't get past the second story. The first one was about Judaism and I really don't like to read about religion especially when the story is all about religion. The second story was so boring and so long that when I finally got done with part one (literally the whole part was “why don't I like my boyfriend“ in excruciating slowness that I just had to stop.

Interesting memoir. Learned a lot and loved the narration by the author.
