Ah back to finishing my graphic novel series. In this volume, we learn more about Jayne's past and why he left his hometown and family. The crew of Serenity is in a bind to help monks that have been robbed and chaos ensues. Wonderful story and I even like the new characters. Good graphics as well.

What an amazing and beautiful book. The artwork is truly awe-inspiring. This is about a girl who doesn't think she is pretty but every body else tells her she is. Wonderfully written. A couple of blank pages in the middle and I'm not sure if that is because it's an ARC or if that is how its supposed to be published.

Beautiful simply beautiful. Gorgeous artwork. This is the story of Mary Shelley, her family and how she came to write “Frankenstein“. A must read for horror classic fan of any age.

So far this one was the best in the series. In this volume, there's a new girl in school named Natasha and of course Olive tries to befriend her but Nat is definitely not a nice girl towards Olive. This story is perfect for kids who have to deal with bullies in their life and also bullies should read this as well. The art is wonderful and I love all of the characters.

Very interesting and crazy short stories. Just as an FYI there is a spoiler in my review.

Just a wonderful series so far. The art is truly amazing and I love all of the characters. In this volume, Canto and his friends go on a mission to defeat the shrouded man so they can get their clock hearts fixed. Will they be able to do it in time before they are extinguished?

My first and definitely not my last Simon cat book. Adorable and funny.

Beautiful words and wonderful pictures throughout this book. Its truly enlightening and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Recommended for everyone.

Perfection. Just plain perfection. This book was very quick to read and it was amazing because if you turn certain pages in the light, you can see hidden things like dragons, spiderwebs, etc. The few words in this book just flowed beautifully with the pictures. Well done!

I absolutely loved the stone troll baby. He truly made me give this book 4 stars. In this one, Hilda and baby troll do a freaky friday and switch bodies (not on purpose). Craziness ensues and Hilda has to figure out how to turn back into a human. Loved the graphics and the storyline.

Just another great comic in the series. Love all the characters.

Creepy and wonderful story just like all of Emily's books. This is a haunting tale of Ann who was killed and is haunting her sister and anyone who plays the game. Just a great spooky tale!

Meh didn't finish it. Boring story and didn't like the graphics. I hope the show will be better than the story in this book. Basically it's about this knight who wants to enter a jousting tournament and thinks he's going to win. He also befriends and gets a helper called “Egg“.

I didn't finish this book due to the triggers that came from listening to this book. I really liked the sea creatures parts but not the author's memoirs about their life.

This was an interesting book. A lot of questions... okay the whole book is questions about true crime, paranormal and the law. I was able to answer a few of them. My favorite section was the paranormal. It would make a great coffee table book to use when you are bored at home and want to strike up a conversation with guests.

This was better than the last book. In this one, a movie is being made of Andy and Terry in their treehouse. You think everything goes smoothly... of course it doesn't!! Lots of hijinks ensue and it all comes together at the end... well kinda. Love the illustrations and of course the story.

Still loving this series!! Hilda, as usual, goes on adventures and finally her mom says stop and stay home. Well of course Hilda sasses her back and she's grounded. However, that doesn't stop her from getting in trouble and winding up in the troll forest! Love love love the graphics and of course Hilda. The ending was surprising and left wide open for the next volume.

Very interesting book about drawing and learning to write.

I liked volume one better. This volume seemed disjointed. Clint gets involved again with the red haired woman where trouble follows her. The confusion for me was the clown? face with the tear that killed Gil (spoiler) and the back story... it was just confusing and I just didn't get it. I'm done with the series.

Absolutely love this series! This time Hilda joins the scouts and is distracted by little nissi (elves) that are getting kicked out of their houses. Also there is a big scary black hound terrorizing the neighborhood. Wonderful graphics, funny story and just love Hilda all around.
