Love love love
Viviana Valentine Gets Her Man was a delightfully entertaining read with a strong female protagonist. Ms. Edwards' words easily allowed me to escape to 1950s New York and I can't wait to return soon.

A private investigator looking into the affairs of a diamond heiress disappears right after a badly beaten and comatose man is found in his office, and it is up to his secretary to solve the crime, clear his name, and tie up all the loose ends the investigation has frayed. Not exactly a playfair mystery, but close enough, with a multi-layered mystery, an interesting cast of characters, and a real sense of place in the depiction of 1950 New York.
Book 1 in new mystery series. 1950, New York City.
This was just okay, but I feel like the series has potential.
Vivian works for PI Tommy Fortuna. The day after Tommy is hired by a wealthy client, Viviana finds an unconscious man on the office floor, and Tommy missing. She is determined to find the connections and unravel the mystery. Set in 1950s New York City, this is the first in a new series. It's well-written and the principal characters are likable. I'll read the next book. #WinterReadathon @Andrew65 @GHABI4ROSES @DieAReader
