more than a whodunit. It was a story of self-discovery after a traumatic event. I enjoyed meeting Evangeline and all the people in her sphere. The mystery was well-plotted and executed. I am looking forward to seeing a more confident Ev as the series continues now that she has handled some hurdles she needed to work through.

Brie Careful What You Wish For is a delightfully delicious read. From the wonderful characters to the twisted mystery to the yummy grilled cheese sandwiches and soups, I was all in on this terrific addition to the series. I can't wait to see what Ms. Reilly grills up for her readers to enjoy next.

At the Edge of the Woods is a great mystery filled with engaging characters and is a wonderful addition to this long-running series. Ms. Houston does provide enough backstory to jump in anywhere but it is a series that is fun to read from the start.

I found it very easy to escape into this story. I enjoyed going back and forth in time to see the characters and how they had developed from then to now. The English village settings of Castle Knoll and Gravestown Hall were perfect.
