I really enjoyed this story. I loved the bond between the two women and their interaction. Some of their adventures are quite funny! I especially liked it when they ended up in Bamburgh in Northumberland, a place I know quite well. It‘s a well written tale with plenty to engage the reader. It‘s definitely about the power of friendship and having the courage to take the bull by the horns. Quite a powerful read, really. A page turner. #Pigeonhole

Thea and Denise are worlds apart, on the surface they are vastly different people, yet somehow opposites attract, I think Thea is attracted by Denise's motherly, empathetic nature and Denise is certainly drawn to the glitz and confident aura Thea exudes.
In a mad moment Thea invites Denise to escape from her day to day, dreary existence with its round of household chores, family and work and run away on the road trip of a lifetime.

Denise is drowning in domesticity and is unhappy with her life.
She has no time for herself and her needs.
That is until she meets the glamorous Thea, the two strike up an unlikely friendship Thea is all Denise wants to be and seems to have her life sorted.
But she doesn't realise that is all just a facade and when they embark on a spontaneous road trip together they get to know each other better and that Thea's life isn't all that it seems.
