What an emotional story! I basically spent most of the book sobbing because Fukumaru went missing. I've known several people who've had cats run away (all of them came back), so I could well imagine how panicked Mr. Kanda was and how scared Fukumaru was :( The afterword story was very sweet.

I'm not crying... you're crying! Wow this was an emotional one! Fukumaru sees another cat outside his window and recognizes him from the shelter. He somehow escapes through the door when Kanda gets home to find the outside cat. Not only did Fukumaru not find the cat, now he is hopelessly lost. Wonderful story and as usual, the little side stories as well. Graphics are still spot on and just enjoying the series so far.

This series is going to kill me in the emotions. I cried the whole book. Fukumaru has gotten out & Kanda is distraught over finding him, but while in his search he finds another cat Moja who is lost, beaten & starved, so now Kanda is at a crossroad between saving this kitty or continuing his search for Fukumaru. This series is beautiful in how we get to see the situations from both Kanda & Fukumaru‘s pov.
