Adorable & heartwarming middle grade contemporary. Fantastic anxiety rep, though do be aware of content warnings for physical manifestations of anxiety. June is a cute character & her relationship with her mother is wonderful. The majority of the story felt very realistic & moved smoothly, but the character of Mrs. Tandy was a bit of a heavy-handed stereotype. A middle grade worth the read. Wholesome, inspiring, & cozy.

Excellent middle grade novel tackling the topic of anxiety in young people. Also features one of the worst librarians ever, but maybe I‘m sensitive to that. But for real, as June is describing her anxiety and panic attacks, I could feel them with her.
