I forgot that this one abruptly ends, but I did remember that the next book picks up right where this one leaves off. I also know what‘s coming in the next book, and on audio I‘m probably going to end up bawling. On to the next book. Here goes nothing. Still grappling with the narration, but the stories are so good they seem to transcend that to a certain degree.

500🌟 For once the cover matches the story. I READ THIS IN AN EVENING IT WAS SO GOOD, then Woodbury has to go off and leave it with the most epic of cliffhangers. I seriously need to sleep right now or I would be flying headlong into the next book. As it is, I‘m going to start the next book ASAP. I am equal parts in love and in awe with this book. It seems my wish that the treacherous little brother get his just deserts is about to be granted.

GingerAntics I am almost willing to bet that he is the titular “Lost Brother” of the next book. I just want to bloody read it right now. How am I supposed to sleep under these circumstances?! I am so in love with this book, excited, and thrown off by the cliffhanger that I can‘t even form a sentence anymore. Absolutely everything has had to be edited about this post. Texreader I just finished the Lost Brother and the title really has multiple meanings. That‘s all I can say without saying too much. Have your hanky in hand to read this one. 6y
GingerAntics @Texreader seriously?! Damn. The part in this one where the kid and his parents come in and insist on seeing Gareth and he‘s all upset thinking that throwing his life away didn‘t matter got me in this one. 6y

I‘m on Book 5 in this series and I feel like I know this Welsh castle inside and out now. Really nice descriptions of places and events—these characters are like good friends now. (The blurb above is from book 4.)
