pickA combination of short reads and extra reading time is making me feel much better about my GoodReads goal for the year, which is finally above water!!! The third book in Eager's series takes us back to the children from Half Magic for another delightful adventure. However, I was a bit confused as to how their stepfather was commuting from Indiana to Toledo EVERY DAY in a Model T... Eager apparently decided to condense geography a bit!!

pickAll of Edward Eager's books are terrific. I highly recommend them, residual as read-alouds. THIS is my FAVORITE.
