The Ponson Case
The Ponson Case | Freeman Wills Crofts
1 post | 1 read
When the body of Sir William Ponson is found in the Cranshaw River near his home of Luce Manor, it is assumed to be an accident - until the evidence points to murder. Inspector Tanner of Scotland Yard discovers that those who would benefit most from Sir William's death seem to have unbreakable alibis, and a mysterious fifth man whose footprints were found at the crime scene is nowhere to be found.

Pickpick

Inspector Tanner investigates the death of a wealthy man, but the obvious suspects, a son and a nephew, have solid alibis. This Golden Age mystery was a weak pick for me. It started off very slowly but picked up halfway through.

At the end of day 2 of the #20in4 #readathon, I've managed 8 hours and 35 minutes of reading. @Andrew65

This is my #1921 entry for the #192025 challenge. @Librarybelle
