Seriously, what‘s not to love about this book?! 😊❤️ It is chock full of interesting and important information about #sharks, and its author is so funny. This is a wonderful read!
humouress (Not sure why this is under a spoiler alert) I love books like this; I still remember reading one about snakes and one snake that discouraged predators by flipping over and pretending to be dead - and if you put it back the right way up it flips back over again 'No, I'm dead!' 2y
SqueakyChu @humouress I accidentally pressed the spoiler alert, but I don‘t know how to get rid of it! 🤷♀️ 2y
SqueakyChu @humouress I figured out how to get rid of it! 2y

SqueakyChu @humouress Actually the only reason I started reading this book was because a friend of mine requested it from my #LittleFreeLibrary. She went to grad school with the author. The book had already been requested by another friend of mine. I browsed through this book and decided that I had to read it before the other two did. I made it into a #BookCrossing Book Ray! 😃 2y
SqueakyChu @humouress So much of the delight in reading books about nature such as this one and the book you read about snakes is the author‘s ability to convey their enthusiasm about nature to the reader. Some authors are better than others, but Shiffman is 💯% 👍 2y
