My latest #littlefreelibrary find! This has been on my list for ages!
Book haul! The two books in front are my #botm picks for February and the two above them I got from a #littlefreelibrary near me! The two on the ends are from my library and I just got an email that another hold is ready so I guess I‘m headed back there tomorrow….no idea when I‘ll read any of these 🤦🏼♀️. For those that have read any of these, are there any I need to move to the top of the TBR?
The title of this book is really Bugaku Treasures from the Kasuga Shrine. I don‘t know the author, but the contents were provided by the Kasuga Shrine in Nara, Japan. It was a book I serendipitously found in my #LittleFreeLibrary. I am reading it now with fascination as I‘ve been following my older son‘s trip to Japan in which he visited several shrines (but not this one). This is an oversized softcover with gorgeous photos!
Someone left this book in my #LittleFreeLibrary. With all the chaos of the holiday season surrounding me, this actually seemed as if it would be a good read so I did start reading it today!
Minnie and Quinn were both born mere minutes apart in a race to become the first baby of the New Year. Their lives may have began together, but where they ended up were world‘s apart. 30 years later they find themselves in the same place at the same time. Is it only coincidence or are they destined to be together?
Wanted to reread this one before sticking it in my #LittleFreeLibrary and I think I enjoyed it more the second time around!
I was so excited to receive this book as a donation for my #LittleFreeLibrary. It was one of the books highest on my wishlist because I was and still am a big fan of Pat Conroy‘s works. Most of his writing, including his novels, was based on his life experiences. This book highlights the author‘s rocky relationship with his dad over the years. As always, Conroy‘s writing is a pleasure to read.
Given my latest read, when I saw this in the rundown, usually filled with terrible books “little free library” near my work, I immediately picked it up.
Opened it up and ooooffff… the brutality! Poor Sophie! It was so heartfelt!
Maybe I‘m just too sentimental?

Thrilled to add eerie reads to the brand NEW little free library I am curating on our new street! It‘s like book nerd Christmas! Starting out with 1 adult, 1 kid lit, and one YA nonfiction with Halloween themes! #happy #Halloweenreads #Scarathalon #participationpoibt #littlefreelibrary #teamslaughter #excited
This small paperback called out to me from a neighborhood #LittleFreeLibrary. Author Elie Wiesel, one of my heroes, recalls in different ways the mysteries of the #Holocaust...which can never be explained.
