This wide-reaching and thoroughly researched book tells the story of George Perry Floyd, from life through death and beyond, as well as that of his family within the context of the world around them. It‘s superb. It‘s also quite frank, explicitly detailing his murder. It may be too soon for some, but it‘s an excellent piece of reportage for now and for posterity.
