The last book of this trilogy. Good ending. Interesting plot, I'm sure the author could actually write more books from the other characters. #Read2025 @DieAReader #SeriesLove25 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView #IspyBingoJune @TheAromaofBooks

Ugh, I really need to start Googling a book before I read it to see if it‘s character driven. 🤦🏻♀️
Nothing much happens here as it‘s about a dysfunctional family who travels to England for a wedding, and the focus is solely on those relationships. But I do wonder if the Prime adaptation is better than the book? Every now and then that happens!

Finished last weekend for #NancyDrewBR I can only restate that I really need to review these right after I‘ve finished them as it all kind of blends together after a crazy workweek.🤷🏻♀️What I do remember for sure is *small spoiler alert* there were no knockouts for Nancy‘s noggin so the #NNK remains at 9/20.🤕This is good for Nanner‘s poor head since she was knocked out twice in the last book & her noggin needed ⬇️
Taylor Jenkins Reid is an expert at making you care about her characters. The novel is a love story set in NASA during the early 1980s, the early years of the Space Shuttle program, and it touches on sexism and homophobia. And that ending!!
Also - I much prefer the UK cover to the US one.

A soft pick for me. I enjoyed the slow burn investigative element, and the court room scenes, but something about the writing style niggled me slightly. With the MC “snuffling” and saying things “in his gentle way” I sometimes felt like I was reading a Bagpuss script. I probably will read the second in the series, though.
Picture shows the Inner Temple garden.

While I enjoyed this book, it was not as good as the first book. I didn't like the characters and the plot as much. Very steamy like book one and dark so read the trigger warnings. 3.5⭐️ #SeriesLove2025 @Andrew65

58/100 If you enjoy laughing at the stupidity, arrogance, and hubris of man, then you will enjoy this. Starting in the 50's and moving to the present, it covers many of the US government's hairbrained plots and plans. Ed Helms makes for a pleasant narrator, he definitely enjoys his subject and tells it in a conversational manner, as if you were meeting at a party and he was giving you tidbits of history trivia. 3.5/5 #Read2025
Another cute hockey romance. Enough tension in the plot to keep my interest all served with a side of steam. Great main characters and banter added to my enjoyment. 4⭐️

It's a good spy novel. Fast-paced and a page turner with a good setup for book 2.#SeriesLove25 #Read2025 #ISpyBingoJune @Andrew65 @TheSpineView @DieAReader @TheAromaofBooks
