Cook chicken in water by boiling until done. Take off bones and put it back in the stock. Add carrots, 1 onion, potatoes, celery, and whatever vegetables you may want.Add salt, pepper, sage, cloves to taste. Cook until veggies are done. ⬇️

Chick and Chickie Play All Day by Claude Ponti is a cute book but I‘m not sure I would use it in a classroom above preschool. It is a fun story about two chicks trying to figure out what to do as they are board. It only talks about the letter A and it‘s sounds but it does have very cute illustrations that portray a fun story.

This comic style book uses a simplistic white background with black boarders to encompass its illustrations. As chick and chickie try to discover the different sounds the A will make different fonts and word bubbles appear. This allows you to see what each character is saying and how it may be portrayed. The use of different sized fonts is used to show how loud or soft a voice would be.

i like that this boook is focused on new readers.

i like this boook for young children. It is funny and the children will laugh at it. it can also help them learn the alphabet.

Graphic Novel, 2012. This book is ideal for very young grades and/or low level readers. It gives low level readers a chance to read comics, which you don‘t get to see very often!

“Well, tomorrow we can play with B!“

I thought that this story is lovely and introduces new readers to graphic novels in an easy way. This would be a great way to also have students read if you want to test their knowledge on their sight words.

Chick and Chickie Play All Day by Claude Ponti is a level one comic for brand-new readers. This is formed for children that are in grades K through 1st. In this story, it contains easy sight words, single theme, one panel per page , and short sentences. This story talks about Chick and Chickie and some of the things that they play during the day.

And when we do nothing…he is happy again!

Chick and Chickee play all day published in 2019 was an adorable read. There were many sight words and repeating of sentences to fully be able to read correctly.

I like this comic because it highlights the sight words that children should be remembering!

This book was published in 2012 and revolves around two chickens. The chickens begin by making masks and change their mind because they‘re scared. The comics depict humor and are simple and the words are organized neatly and the font is super easy to read. A great first comic book.
