Mehso-so

A memoir by a woman who was adopted as an infant, with topics such as depression, sexual abuse, her pursuits of music and nursing, and her search to find birth family. She has spent her life circling from where she grew up in Nebraska in ever wider circuits to NYC, India, and her current home in San Antonio TX.

I saw her at TX Book Fest, where I got the book. It was slow moving and contemplative.

Christine Wow…I read the author‘s name and wondered if it was the same Suzanne Ohlmann I went to college/was in the soprano section of a small, intense college choir with. Tiny bit of googling suggests it is! 2y
Soubhiville @Christine I bet it is! Small world! 2y
Christine It is a small world! Strangely enough, another member of that choir soprano section is also a published author of a bunch of novels - a fact I also learned here on Litsy a few years ago! 😆 I think they were good friends. 2y
