The holidays are never good for my anxiety and thanks to a disconnect between my doctor and pharmacy, I‘ve been off my meds for 3 weeks. Rather than sleep, I‘ve been knitting and listening to audiobooks… this one was lighthearted and diverting and didn‘t require much brain power from me. Exactly that I needed! 🤦‍♀️

Clare-Dragonfly Seems like this year has been rough medication-wise for a lot of people! I hope you get your meds soon. 2y

Enjoyable second in the series. I like that these sisters are not damsels in distress waiting to be rescued. The books are cute and fun. The audiobook narrators are very good (although the American accents sound like it‘s what someone who‘s never actually heard an American speak thinks it would sound like🤷🏽‍♀️😂)

The second book in Heath‘s Merriwell Sisters series centers around Diana, the middle daughter. And while many favorite characters from the first book appear here, it‘s a whole new storyline around Giles and his family skeletons and Diana‘s sleuthing skills that feature here. It‘s a fun romance and while some of the phrasing may not be historically accurate, it‘s a fun read with some great alliteration and a genuinely charming romance! Such fun!!

I am really loving this series. Book 2 was just as good as book 1, but was more serious. Which is keeping in line with Diana‘s personality. This one had a fun mystery built in and a sweet ending. Looking forward to seeing what happens with Vee next!
