TW: Due to the subject nature of this book, suicide is frequently mentioned.
This is a great thriller, & I can't believe it's the author's first published novel. It's not perfect: it's slow to get started, & for an intelligent woman Clementine can be unbearably dim at times, but overall it's well-written & there are some great clues in the narrative, & I didn't find it immediately obvious which of the characters was the guilty party.
