The last in the series and it did not disappoint. It‘s actually my favourite instalment! Hal and Uncle Nat have their Arctic journey planned. That is until they realise they are being followed. The descriptions of the landscape and cities make me want to do the train ride. Journeying into the arctic winter, this is their most adventurous trip yet! Beautiful illustrations throughout and I‘m sad to see the end of the series.

I love this series and this is one of my favourites. The pace, characters, mystery are excellent. Each of the Adventures on Trains books is based on a real train journey undertaken by Maya & Sam (the authors) and this one is based on a trip I've been wanting to do for a while now, to explore some of the places in the arctic circle in winter. The story is enchanced by Paganelli's brilliant illustrations. Highly recommended MG (but for adults too!).
