This was an amazing sequel to the first book!
The growth from Tissanah and Max was so perfect.
I love that this one bounces back and forth between past and present. By the end of the book, everything came together. It was very well done!
Aefe's story is so sad, I really loved reading her parts.

I can't wait to start the final book!

I loved everything about this book.

The worldbuilding and storytelling were amazing. The story evoked so many emotions, I enjoyed reading it very much.

I became a fan of the characters and the developed friendships. Unbelievable how angry I got on those who betrayed the main characters.
The past identity of Reshaye was obvious but still beautifully revealed and it is remarkable how the past and the present were merged.

Trauma and how characters dealt with rough things was represented brilliantly.

The beginning dragged a bit, there was a battle after battle and it was a bit boring to read about. And suddenly things happened so fast.

Aefe's storyline felt confusing and so separated. The ending explained a lot but I love journeys and if the journey isn't good, the ending can't really save everything else.

Another great read by Carissa Broadbent. I am quickly becoming a fan and cannot wait to read the next book!
