This mystery immerses readers in the bayou parish is st Augustine LA. A detective is convinced a string of seven missing or murdered girls are connected, but the corrupt police don‘t want him looking too much into it. The detective calls on his former navy buddy who is now in the FBI to assist. Drugs, brothels, family ties and southern tradition (and sweet tea and humidity) make this a great “whodunnit” book.
