This too started slow, but then I was able to quickly follow. I enjoyed the dystopian concept, similar to the Divergent Series. Looking forward to the 2nd in the series.
This book was definitely a dystopian. It introduces a world where the government has so much control they are executing people for simple things. Although the book is a pleasant read and it avoids some tropes such as love triangles that plague the dystopian world it fails, in my eyes, to truly stand out. The over controlling government is not a new concept and I felt the characters could've developed better. Still a pleasant read despite that.
