Six Months Later | Natalie Richards

Mehso-so

I enjoy reading this authors books but they never truly stand out to me. When Chloe wakes up she has amnesia and can't remember the last six months of her life. She realizes her life style has changed drastically during these months. Chloe tries to discover what she has forgotten as she realizes everything is not as it seems in her new life. It's a nice read but I felt the conclusion didn't have enough buildup or enough explanation.

Mehso-so

This book was definitely a dystopian. It introduces a world where the government has so much control they are executing people for simple things. Although the book is a pleasant read and it avoids some tropes such as love triangles that plague the dystopian world it fails, in my eyes, to truly stand out. The over controlling government is not a new concept and I felt the characters could've developed better. Still a pleasant read despite that.

Generation One | Pittacus Lore

Pickpick

I absolutely loved the first book of the Legacies Reborn series. Each character is unique and develops as the story progresses. I loved seeing more into the live of the earth garde we met in United as One while also meeting som new garde we haven't met yet. Each character managed to shine without taking away from the story, in fact, I think they make the story. All in all a fantastic read! Don't pick this up without reading Lorien Legacies first!

Crank | Ellen Hopkins

Pickpick

Crank by Ellen Hopskins is a book I avoided at first because of its unique writing style. I finally made the decision to pick it up and I am so glad I did. This book does a great job of portraying a normal girl spiraling down a bad path involving drugs. It does a good job expressing how drug users think about their actions and the extent they will go. I loved it and I hope you will too!
