Lunch involved coconut tofu with blueberries & chocolate sauce, plus my daily short story. I‘m sorry to say it, but I‘m disappointed in this anthology. I get the sense that many of the contributors are accomplished novelists with less experience crafting short fiction. There are some interesting highlights, but on the whole I think this the sort of anthology that convinces casual short fiction readers that short stories just aren‘t for them. 😔

This week‘s library haul features three requests and a lucky find off the Recent Purchases rack (tagged). I‘ll need a new short fiction anthology tomorrow, and now I‘m covered!
