pickThis was a well-put-together book detailing the history of the two Dr. Who films starring Peter Cushing as the Doctor. Long derided as not being canon, they do have their admirers, and I am sufficiently intrigued to want to see the first one. Cuilin That‘s interesting. With one feature length episode Paul McCann‘s portrayal is cannon though. Was Cushing still No 1? Hmm I may need to read this lol 9mo
rabbitprincess @Cuilin Paul McGann‘s film was a BBC production, so it was canon (although the « half human on his mum‘s side » bit caused controversy!) The Cushing films were a different studio so they reworked a lot of elements for reasons of permissions or cinema requirements. This is a great book so I definitely think you should read it! 9mo
